Good Monk raised $2 M Pre-series A funding from RPSG Capital

The flagship Superfoods Valley brand, Good Monk, has raised $2 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by RPSG Capital Ventures, with participation from current investors ThinKuvate, Sharrp Ventures, and Multiply Ventures.

Multiply Ventures and others had previously contributed $841K to the company’s fundraising efforts. Vineeta Singh, co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics, offered the startup a deal on Shark Tank Season 4 after it appeared on the show.

According to a press release from Good Monk, the money raised will go toward product development and research and development in order to provide healthier options.

Good Monk, which was co-founded in 2022 by Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur, sells a variety of goods, such as fiber supplements, multivitamin and probiotic mixes, and more than 50 nutrition mixes for seniors. The company is in the e-commerce industry and focuses on health and nutrition. The brand’s product line provides clinically validated solutions for consumer groups of children, adults, and those over 50.

The Bengaluru-based company claims that its goal is to make nutrition simple and accessible, emphasizing community involvement and nutritional transparency, especially for underprivileged communities. It is also well-known for giving a percentage of its sales to programs that provide midday meals.

In addition to its website, Good Monk currently sells products on popular e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, and others. The company’s digital footprint is growing, and it is becoming accessible to customers through all platforms. According to the brand, it has grown 11 times in the past 12 months and established a solid customer base.

RPSG Capital has made investments in the fields of nutrition, health, and wellness, supporting businesses like Nutrabay, Plix, and True Elements.
