Hang Ten Systems raises additional $53 M in second Seed round

Enterprise AI services startup Hang Ten Systems, founded by former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka, has secured an additional $53 million in a second seed round led by Singapore-based Xora Innovation, a fund backed by Temasek.

The latest financing takes Hang Ten’s total capital raised to $85 million within months of its launch. The new round follows a $32 million seed round announced roughly five weeks earlier and led by Mayfield. Existing investors Mayfield and Aramco Ventures also participated in the latest financing.

The Menlo Park-based company counts several prominent technology executives among its individual backers, including Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra and Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang. Yang has also joined Hang Ten’s board.

Hang Ten works with large enterprises on advisory, transformation and applied AI initiatives. Its offering combines AI agents that can generate code with a reusable library of “skills” and access to domain specialists. The startup aims to provide enterprises with a faster and more cost-effective option than conventional IT systems integrators.

The fresh funding will support an expansion of the company’s delivery capabilities, along with its engineering and consulting teams.

Phil Inagaki, managing partner at Xora, identified enterprise AI implementation as one of the sector’s biggest bottlenecks. He said the fund is seeing significant demand for such capabilities in Singapore and other markets across the region.
