India’s software firm Rezolv raises $12.5 M Series A funding from Norwest

With participation from Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India as well as current investor 3one4 Capital, Rezolv, an Indian software startup that uses AI to automate debt collection for lenders, has raised $12.5 million in a Series A fundraising round headed by U.S. venture firm Norwest.

The round comes after a $3.5 million seed investment led by 3one4 Capital in early 2025, according to a statement released on Monday by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India. Rezolv stated that company would use the money raised to improve its AI tools for sales, risk, underwriting, and collections, among other areas of the loan process. Additionally, it will enter markets outside of India.

Sonali Jindal and Karan Mehta, who previously co-founded the Indian digital lending company Kissht, created the business in 2024. Banks and non-banking financial firms purchase software from Rezolv to handle debt collection, from early reminders to court recovery.

AU Small Finance Bank, ICICI Bank, Poonawalla Fincorp, and Bajaj Auto Credit are just a few of the more than 22 banks and financial institutions that the company has inked. Every month, its technology can manage over 12 million loan accounts and 6.5 million minutes of borrower discussions. The collection and resolution rates have increased by 35% thanks to its product, Strategy Builder.

Measuring the commercial impact of enterprise AI is a major difficulty, according to Sonali Jindal, a co-founder of Rezolv. The organization seeks to measure results like debt collection productivity, cost, and recovery rates. According to co-founder Karan Mehta, the money will help with international market expansion. Given its size and mostly manual procedures, debt collection is one of the financial services sectors best suited to artificial intelligence, according to Niren Shah, managing director and head of Norwest India.

Mumbai-based Rezolv creates AI software for the financing process. Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India is an early-stage venture firm based in Singapore, while Norwest is a U.S. venture and growth-equity firm with offices in California, Mumbai, and Tel Aviv that manages over $15.5 billion. Based in Bangalore, India, 3one4 Capital is a venture capital business.
