Interior discovery platform Roomstory.ai raised Pre-seed funding from Rukam Sitara Fund
Aakash Anand, the founder of Bella Vita, and Wolfpack Labs participated in a pre-seed fundraising round headed by Rukam Sitara Fund, which raised Rs 3 crore for the interior discovery site Roomstory.ai.
According to a news statement from Roomstory, the money raised will be utilized to expand its user base and create a community of interior design lovers, improve its AI skills, and construct a website and mobile applications for a smooth digital user experience.
Ekatva Jain, Sahil Lunia, and Punit Jain co-founded Roomstory.ai, an AI-powered platform that gives users a smooth, Pinterest-like experience by letting them explore exquisitely designed rooms and instantly shop every item through direct links to retail partners.
In the interior design industry, the platform bridges the gap between browsing and purchasing by emphasizing inspiration-first commerce.
It transforms how people design and furnish their spaces by combining a tech-first approach with more than 100 completed interior designs and more than ten years of design experience, according to Roomstory.

Globally, the home and interior shopping category is worth over $800 billion, according to market research, and in India, the interior design industry is projected to reach $38.2 billion by 2027, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 30% from 2021 that year.
