KARBAN raised Rs 8.93 Cr Seed funding from All In Capital, Titan Capital and Rainmatter

Titan Capital, Rainmatter, and All In Capital led a seed round that brought in Rs 8.93 crore ($1.07 million) for Karban Envirotech, a startup that makes energy-efficient electronic appliances.

Urban Company, JK Family Office, and angel investors Kunal Shah, Anupam Mittal, Bharat Jaisinghiani, Atul Gupta, Abhishek Goyal, Sumer Sethi, Natasha Malpani Oswal, Sarang Iyengar, and Karan Jindal are among the other investors who took part in the round.

According to a press release from the company, KARBAN will use the money to support innovation and the development of new products, grow its business, and fortify its team.

Karan Bansal and Tanya Goyal founded Karban in December 2021. The company has designed and produced a bladeless ceiling fan with an integrated air purifier and lights. Its distinctive design offers multiple functions for airflow, air purification, and lighting in homes, offices, hotels, restaurants, and other spaces while consuming less electricity overall.

Karban is targeting the Rs 50,000 crore smart consumer appliances market in India. Established businesses like Havells, Crompton, and Superfan as well as cutting-edge startups like Atomberg are its rivals.
