Kognitiv acquired by Capillary Technologies

Kognitiv, a supplier of omnichannel loyalty solutions, was purchased by Capillary Technologies, an AI-powered loyalty management company, as part of its calculated move to enter the North American market.
With this acquisition, Capillary increases its global footprint in the US, ANZ, SEA, and UAE markets and makes its fourth investment in the loyalty space since 2021.
Persuade, Brierley+Partners, and Tenerity’s Digital Connect Assets (now Rewards+) are among the companies that Capillary has previously acquired.
Through the acquisition, Capillary will be able to incorporate Kognitiv’s solutions to improve its capabilities for data-driven personalization and customer engagement. Enterprise brands like Petsmart, Hallmark, Yuu Rewards, Kirkland’s, Curaleaf, Sharjah Co-op, and Leading Hotels of the World are among Kognitiv’s clientele.
Kognitiv, which specializes in data-driven loyalty management for international brands, has operations in 20 countries since 2020, when it merged with Aimia’s Loyalty Solutions division. Following the acquisition, Capillary wants to leverage AI-powered loyalty tactics to produce quantifiable business results for its more than 100 clients worldwide, including more than 15 Fortune 500 companies.
Aneesh Reddy, Co-founder and CEO of Capillary Technologies, said, “Kognitiv’s expertise in omnichannel loyalty solutions aligns with our global expansion strategy. This acquisition will enable us to deliver impactful loyalty solutions that drive consumer engagement and business growth.”
Capillary raised $140 million in its Series D round in February of last year, of which $20 million was set aside for payments under the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
