The most recent Flagship Start IT program, which provides a support package of EGP480,000 (US$10,000) per startup among other benefits, has chosen eight Egyptian startups to participate.
The 47th round of the Start IT incubation program is currently being run by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency’s (ITIDA) Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre (TIEC).
Start IT helps prospective business owners create scalable, investment-ready startups by focusing on ICT-driven concepts, solutions, or prototypes. For the most recent iteration of the program, eight startups have been chosen.
They are:
- Cluster is developing a health-tech platform that streamlines pharmaceutical supply chain operations.
- Mystery Bag offers a digital solution to reduce food waste and unsold inventory through smart redistribution.
- Converse2Note leverages AI to convert doctor-patient consultations into structured and coded medical reports.
- Coccarohome connects women artisans directly with consumers, promoting authentic, handmade home décor.
- Sportyano is building a digital platform for sports talent discovery, academy management, and contract facilitation.
- LRNOVA enables the creation of high-quality educational content using AI-powered tools.
- TANKER provides a digital system to monitor and manage fuel consumption in logistics and transportation fleets.
- eDariba simplifies digital tax compliance for SMEs, freelancers, and accounting offices, aligning with Egypt’s digital transformation in tax services.
A unique benefits platform for incubated startups, Start IT Perks, has been introduced by ITIDA. The platform partners with top local enablers such as Talents Arena, Sprints, The WhiteGuard, Qayedeny, Camion, Techie Matter, DevisionX, and Zurqa to offer discounted access to premium digital tools and services. The objective is to support faster scaling, lower operating costs, and improve startup efficiency.
