Livspace, an Indian interior design marketplace to expand to the Middle East
Livspace will carry out its Middle East development plan through a strategic joint venture with the Alsulaiman Group (ASG), a regional operational partner of home goods giant IKEA.
Starting with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Livspace will investigate potential in the MENA region’s home interiors and restoration industry. The JV will also pursue its goal of onboarding over a thousand designs and home improvement professional partners in the area by 2022, as part of its ambition to enhance the team by investing in talent at all levels.
Livspace is an omnichannel home interior and remodeling platform located in India that was founded in 2014. It has patented technology that allows it to give homeowners a one-stop renovation solution, from design to controlled last-mile fulfillment for all rooms in the house. The company presently has users in Singapore and 21 Indian cities. TPG Growth, Goldman Sachs, Ingka Ventures (IKEA), Kharis Capital, and other worldwide investors have contributed approximately US $200 million to the company to date.
