LLMs provider GigaML raised $3.6 M Seed funding from Nexus
GigaML, a provider of large language models (LLMs), has raised $3.6 million in seed funding, led by Nexus Venture Partners. Additional funding was contributed by Y Combinator, Liquid 2 Venture, 8vdx, and angel investors like Garry Tan.
GigaML, which was founded three months ago by Varun Vummadi and Esha Manideep Dinne, enables businesses to securely customize and implement large language models. Businesses can use the platform to directly install LLMs like GPT-4 on their own servers.
Businesses can use Giga ML’s base model and modify it to suit their unique requirements by adding more pre-training. Additionally, the startup offers an enterprise self-hosted substitute for GitHub Copilot called X1 code chat.
The Bengaluru-founded startup faces off against companies like Together AI and Mosaic ML.
Observe.ai, Delhivery, H2O.ai, Quizizz, Sibros, TileDB, Turtlemint, Unacademy, Zepto, Zomato, Fingerprint, Nx, Druva, Hasura, Observe.ai, and Turtlemint are a few of the apps in the Nexus portfolio.
