Malaysia’s Cradle Fund focuses on investment trends, growth prospects, and startup summit registration

Registration for the Cradle LIVE! Summit 2026 is now open. Cradle Fund is the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation’s (MOSTI) main agency for the development of startup ecosystems.
The conference will be held at The Arch Galeries in Kuala Lumpur from November 4-5, according to a statement released by Cradle Fund on Monday. More than 2,300 people attended the last edition.
With the theme “Build in Malaysia, For ASEAN & Beyond,” the two-day summit will include over 20 conference sessions divided into two tracks: The BIG Innovation Impact, which will cover corporate innovation, funding opportunities, and public-private sector collaboration, and The Springboard to ASEAN, which will cover regional growth opportunities, investment trends, and market expansion strategies.
Topics covered in the sessions include corporate innovation showcases, Malaysia’s innovation drive, and establishing B2B companies throughout ASEAN.
Sessions like “Empowering Ecosystem to Drive National and Regional Impact,” “9 Unicorns In, One Lesson Nobody Talks About,” “Corporate Innovation Showcase: What Malaysia’s Corporates Are Building,” and “Crossing Borders: Building a B2B Business Across ASEAN” are currently on the agenda.
According to Norsham binti Abdul Latip, Deputy Secretary General for Technology Development at MOSTI, one of the main forces behind Malaysia’s innovation-driven economy is a robust startup ecosystem. The official continued, “The summit reflects MOSTI’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between government, industry, investors, and research institutions to help Malaysian startups expand into ASEAN and global markets.”
The summit’s goal, according to Cradle Group CEO Norman Matthieu Vanhaecke, is to link Malaysian entrepreneurs with investors, strategic partners, and ecosystem actors in order to increase market access and open up collaborative opportunities.
