Marriage app Betterhalf received $8.5 M Series A funding
FinSight Ventures has contributed US $8.5 million to a series A round of funding for Betterhalf, a marriage app for urban Indians. Arash Ferdowsi and Mike Krieger, co-founders of Dropbox, are two other investors.
Betterhalf, a company founded in 2019 by Rahul Namdev and Pawan Gupta, provides online dating, technologically enhanced wedding planning, and astrological services.
The yearly income of the Indian firm increased double during the previous six months. It boasts more than 1 million active users per month, thanks to a 3x increase in its total user base since June of last year.
Betterhalf hopes to maintain its growth momentum with the additional money and concentrate on developing into the “super app of marriage and wedding services”.
