Metadome.ai raised $6.5 M funding from Siana Capital and Chiratae
Led by Siana Capita and current investor Chiratae Ventures, the extended reality (XR) startup Metadome.ai (formerly Adloid) has raised $6.5 million in Series A funding in an equity and debt round. The new round also included new investors Manish Choksi’s family office, Alteria Capital, and 3to-1 Capital.
As per the press release from Metadome.ai, the company intends to utilize the investment to broaden its business operations to new areas and enhance its capacity to offer sophisticated XR technologies combined with AI breakthroughs.
Metadome.ai hopes to increase its footprint in the US, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East with this support.
The Gurugram-based company raised $4 million in December 2021 thanks to Chiratae’s lead pre-Series A round.
Metadome is a sales enablement company that was founded in 2016 by Kanav Singla, Shorya Mahajan, and Kartik Kanaujia. The company specializes in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) solutions for home décor, e-commerce, and mobility. It is compatible with Asian Paints, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors, and Hewlett Packard (HP), among others.
According to the company’s press release, Metadome.ai has been expanding naturally since its founding and has seen a more than twofold increase in its clientele since the previous year.
In order to provide customers with a virtual reality experience where they can explore home improvement solutions, Metadome recently partnered with Hippo Homes to open its new store in Greater Noida.
Global investor interest in the XR industry has been substantial, according to Statista. According to the report, $1.9 billion was invested in the space, demonstrating the significance of 3D, AR, and VR in enhancing the customer buying and post-sales cycle.
