O-Farms programme invites Kenyan agri-circularity startups
Kenyan agri-circularity firms are encouraged to apply to participate in the second O-Farms accelerator program, which will provide milestone-based grant financing of up to EUR25,000 (US $24,000) to two peer-selected companies.
O-Farms was established in 2021 as Africa’s first agri-circularity-focused accelerator program, led by Bopinc and Village Capital, and administered by E4Impact Accelerator, with the intention of mainstreaming circularity as a strategy for enhanced rural lives and sustainability.
The initiative, which has helped 11 SMEs so far, is back for a second round. This year, it will assist 10 Kenyan-based agri-circularity startups in addressing food losses and byproducts. Selected startups will profit from a customized circularity curriculum that will help them define their circular solutions, strengthen their business models, and obtain grant funding of up to EUR25,000.
Up until September 30th, applications are accepted.
