OfficeBanao raises funds, eyes rapid expansion in proptech sector

Proptech startup OfficeBanao, raises funds (undisclosed) in its latest financing round. The funding was made by Ajit Mohan, angel investor and Founding CEO, Hotstar; Ramesh Nair, a veteran in the real estate industry, and Apurva Chamaria, Head of Partnership solutions, Startups and venture, Google India.

Commenting on the funds raised, Tushar Mittal, Founder & CEO, OfficeBanao, said, “We are thrilled to have these industry leaders as partners in our journey. With the combined support of these investments, the recent partnership with Lightspeed, and the dedicated OfficeBanao team, we are well-positioned for accelerated growth and to meet the increasing demand for innovative and comprehensive workspace interior solutions”.

The Gurugram-based real estate startup was founded in 2021 by Tushar Mittal, Valentin Blanchard, Akshya Kumar, and Divyanshu Sharma. The startup aims at specializing in providing innovative technology solutions for the commercial real estate sector.

The proptech based startup will provide a platform to architects, designers, material suppliers and office furniture. Currently, OfficeBanao has an established customer base in over 15 cities which also includes tier-2 markets. The startup is aiming to expand their services in over 25 cities in the coming future.

The investments in OfficeBanao have been made by various esteemed leaders in the industry which goes on to tell that the proptech startup is anticipated to reach to its potential.

With the funding raised, OfficeBanao will focus on the expansion and will further use the funds to gain advanced technology in order to accelerate their product development. The start will also look into hiring more workforce.
