OneByZero raises $20 M Series A funding from Jungle Ventures for enterprise AI

Singapore-based enterprise AI company OneByZero has secured $20 million in a Series A round led by Jungle Ventures, marking the venture firm’s first external funding investment.

The company said on Monday that it will use the fresh capital to expand its engineering teams across its nine existing markets: Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the United States and Vietnam. OneByZero also plans to establish a team in Japan.

The funding will additionally support the company’s expansion into sectors including healthcare and the public sector, as well as further development of its NEO platform.

Building AI systems within enterprises

Founded in 2023, OneByZero uses a “forward-deployed” approach in which its engineers work directly within customer organisations to integrate AI into existing systems and continuously improve those deployments after launch.

Its NEO platform enables businesses to deploy and govern AI “agents” as automated systems with defined responsibilities and controls, working alongside human employees.

The company operates primarily on Amazon Web Services and counts banks, telecommunications companies and retailers among its main customers.

Scaling AI adoption across Asia

OneByZero said its revenue has more than doubled annually over the past three years. According to the company, some deployments have automated more than 90% of customer-facing interactions, while its AI implementations have helped accelerate data-modernisation projects by 50%.

Co-founder and CEO Niket Vaidya said AI can generate sustained business value and continue improving when it is embedded directly into the systems businesses rely on to operate.

Jungle Ventures managing partner Yash Sankrityayan said OneByZero had distinguished itself by spending three years implementing AI across large and complex organisations while delivering measurable outcomes. He added that this experience is becoming increasingly relevant as enterprises across Asia shift from experimenting with AI to integrating it into core business operations.
