Piper Serica led Rs 15 Cr Seed funding raised by deep tech startup Yaanendriya
Yaanendriya, a Bengaluru-based deep tech company building indigenous sensor, navigation, and control technologies for mobile robots and critical applications, has raised Rs 15 crore in a seed funding round led by Piper Serica.
The fresh funds will be used to strengthen research and development, accelerate product development, and expand its portfolio of high precision navigation systems for mission critical environments, Yaanendriya said in a press release.
Co-founded in February last year by Vamshi Bharadwaj M V, Vyshak Y, Vijay HP, and Aravind Thumbur, Yaanendriya develops indigenous sensor, navigation, and control technologies for robotics, aerospace, and other critical applications.
Its portfolio consists of the YDX line of very accurate inertial sensors used in commercial applications worldwide and the SynCore range of navigation controllers for autonomous robotic platforms. In addition, the company is creating high precision MEMS inertial sensors for the NewSpace industry, navigation systems, and a hardware-neutral platform for space and other crucial missions.
In situations when GNSS is unavailable, inaccurate, or purposefully interrupted, Yaanendriya creates sensor and control platforms that allow autonomous systems, such as drones, ground robots, spacecraft, and undersea vehicles, to sense motion, estimate their status, and maintain control.
In order to estimate orientation, position, and velocity while enabling real-time stabilization and control, its SynCore navigation controllers integrate inputs from several sensors. Robotics businesses use the platform for airborne, ground, and underwater applications in industries like agricultural, defense, and surveillance.
The company’s YDX family of highly accurate inertial sensors is used in applications such as surgical robots, unmanned vehicles, and motion capture for video games across four continents.
