Piper Serica led Rs 6 Cr Seed funding raised by deep tech startup eNLife Research

Piper Serica VC Fund led the Rs 6 crore seed fundraising round for deep tech firm eNLife Research.

According to a press release from eNLife, the revenues will be used to develop and validate its blood-based biomarker platform, grow its R&D team in Bengaluru, and move its first diagnostic assay from prototype to clinical grade validation.

Deepak Kumaran Nair, Jojo Jacob, and Anish Mathew co-founded eNLife Research in 2025 as a deep tech firm that develops accessible, AI-powered diagnostic systems to identify Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative illnesses years before clinical symptoms manifest.

The Bengaluru-based business finds the earliest biological indicators of disease onset by combining machine learning with highly sensitive biomarker identification from readily accessible bodily fluids.

With the overarching objective of making early neurodegenerative disease diagnosis accessible, scalable, and inexpensive, eNLife claims to be collaborating with top Indian academic institutions to develop a diagnostic platform tailored to Indian genetic and lifestyle risk profiles.

To create biomarker datasets unique to India, the business is now working with researchers from prestigious institutes including IISc, NIMHANS, TIFR Hyderabad, and CBR Bengaluru. Over the next nine to eighteen months, it plans to start submitting patent applications for its detection platform, biomarker binders, and diagnostic assays.

The eNLife test is intended to provide results in two to five hours and can be delivered using standard diagnostic facilities. In order to discover early indicators of illness progression years before clinical symptoms appear, the company’s AI engine is being trained to recognize tiny relationships between these biomarkers.
