Punjab has finest startup and IT ecosystem: Minister Meet Hayer
According to state minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, Punjab has the greatest ecosystem for the IT and startup sectors and has several chances.
The Minister for State Governance Reforms added that the Punjab administration has taken extra care to ensure that business is a full participant in making policies.
“Punjab is now a land of immense opportunities. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has given hope to people that Punjab can be put on the orbit of the high growth trajectory of economic growth by transforming it into an industrial hub,” the minister said on the second and concluding two-day Progressive Punjab Investors Summit.
Moreover, he said that Ajay Banga, a Punjabi, will manage the World Bank and that Punjab is home to many of the country’s top entrepreneurs.
At a session, Meet Hayer stated that the state presently employs over 35,000 IT workers across more than 150 registered IT entities.
The event will be held in Mohali, which is quickly becoming an IT hub. An official statement claims that it is situated in a crucial area near an international airport.
