ValueQuest Investment Advisors led the fundraising effort for Rangsons Aerospace, a product technology company for homeland security, aerospace, and defense. Anand Rathi Advisors served as the transaction’s financial advisor. The company raised Rs 300 crore ($36.5 million).
Through strategic acquisitions, the money raised will be utilized to expand into new business sectors and create goods and services for the global commercial and military aviation markets.
Rangsons Aerospace is part of NR Group, a business group based in Mysore. It has three facilities across Bangalore and Mysore. Airborne thermal management, fluid distribution solutions, and satellite communications systems are some of its product lines.
Global aerospace majors including Boeing, GE, and Honeywell are among Rangsons’ tier I partners.
Additionally, it provides Indian majors like ISRO, Indian Navy, HAL, and others with a number of vital systems.
