Rs 25 Cr Series A funding secured by edtech firm uFaber

The Rs 25 crore Series A funding round for the online education platform uFaber was led by Mastermind JPIN Capital Partners and Gray Matters Capital. Earlier, angel investors contributed Rs 2.5 crore to the edtech company.

According to a statement from the company, uFaber wants to continue on its upward development trajectory and solidify its position in the hotly contested edtech market. It added that the funding will help it achieve its expansion goals, including bigger teams, better technology, and more system capacity.

A wide range of people can choose from the specialized training programs offered by uFaber. The platform certifies teachers, the majority of whom are women, and offers them the chance to work from home in more than 100 small towns teaching English to young people in an efficient and affordable manner.

Fluent Life, eMaester, IELTS Ninja, UPSC Pathshala, and Real School are the five programs that are available on the platform. Fluent Life provides coaching for various competitive exams, while eMaester prepares women to work from home as teachers, IELTS Ninja prepares working professionals for English proficiency exams, Real School offers individualized instruction, and UPSC Pathshala provides coaching for college students, professionals, homemakers, and businessmen.

By 2024, the company, which Rohit Jain and Anirudh Swarnkar founded, hopes to have more than 1 lakh students enrolled and more than 5,000 trainers working there.
