Sequoia backed $5 M raised by Indian Attentive
An outdoor services sales automation platform called Attentive, located in India, has secured $5 million from InfoEdge Ventures and Sequoia India’s Surge.
The startup provides a platform based on software as a service that aids in using AI to automate processes for businesses working in the outdoor service sector. It supports projects like pavement, landscaping, snow removal, and pest management.
In 2017, Shiva Dhawan and Sarthak Vijay launched the business. According to Attentive, it is the only AI-based option available on the market for outdoor services.
Currently, significant US-based landscaping businesses, including Juniper, US Lawns, Beary Landscaping, Greenscape, Nanak, and Perficut use its platform.
With the additional funding, Attentive will enhance its platform even more and leverage its technology to automate more outdoor workflow components.
According to Attentive CEO Dhawan, as labour costs and inflation grow, landscapers are searching for solutions to automate routine procedures.
According to projections from SkyQuest Technology, the worldwide SaaS market is expected to reach US $720.44 billion by 2028, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 25.89 percent.
