Singapore’s Zeya Health acquires ConnectLah to expand AI-powered healthcare booking

Singapore-based healthtech company Zeya Health has acquired clinic-automation startup ConnectLah as it looks to strengthen its AI-powered platform for scheduling medical appointments.

Zeya Health said the acquisition will bring ConnectLah’s technology, products and customer base into its existing patient-booking platform. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Expanding AI-driven appointment booking

Zeya Health operates a platform that translates patient requests into appointments based on each clinic’s available services, schedules and booking policies. Its AI agents manage the steps involved in moving from an initial request to a confirmed appointment.

The Antler-backed startup also handles patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, reminders and follow-ups through messaging and voice channels.

ConnectLah, meanwhile, focuses on automating front-desk operations for clinics. Its platform enables healthcare providers to manage patient communications, bookings and reminders through WhatsApp.

Zeya targets regional healthcare expansion

Zeya said its revenue has increased 15-fold over the past year, although from an early-stage base. The company currently serves healthcare providers across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia and Vietnam, as well as a hospital partner in Cambodia.

The startup is targeting 1,000 healthcare providers by the middle of 2027.

Beyond appointment scheduling, Zeya is working toward a model in which patients can use personal AI assistants to arrange healthcare appointments, while clinics continue to define and control their own scheduling rules.

Founder and CEO Agastya Samat said the company is developing the infrastructure required for personal AI systems to navigate the complexity of individual clinic schedules and booking requirements.

Antler co-founder Jussi Salovaara described the acquisition as a capital-efficient strategy that could enable Zeya to accelerate its growth without having to develop the acquired capabilities internally.
