Snack brand phab raised $2 M Seed funding from OTP Ventures

A $2 million seed funding round led by OTP Ventures, with participation from Capri Global, Sim&San law firm, and other angel investors, has been raised by phab, a snacking brand led by nutritionists.
According to a press release from Phab, the money raised will be used for team expansion, growth capital, capital expenditures, and enhancing the company’s online and offline presence throughout India.
Phab, which was co-founded in 2022 by Gayatri and Ankit Chona, provides high-protein, high-flavour snacks that combine genuine nutrition with indulgence. The company specializes in producing nutritious snacks and protein supplements that are both tasty and healthful.
The Mumbai-based business claims that it provides a range of goods, including protein milkshakes, protein powders, and energy bars, with the goal of giving customers who want to increase their protein intake tasty and convenient options.
It stresses a science-based approach to food, according to Phab, with scientists, chefs, and nutritionists working together to develop goods that satisfy dietary requirements. The brand intends to increase its team and production capacity, introduce new product categories, and develop a multi-channel strategy spanning digital, quick commerce, general, and modern trade in order to establish a pan-Indian presence.
More than two million bars, bombs, and bottles have been sold, according to Phab. By collaborating with schools and organizations that serve marginalized groups, the brand hopes to close the gap in protein deficiency in the nation and reach those who need protein the most but have the least access to it.
