SOC.OS acquired by Sophos

Sophos, a worldwide leader in next-generation cybersecurity, announced the acquisition of SOC.OS, a cloud-based security alarm investigation and triage automation solution developer. The system combines and prioritises a large number of security warnings from various products and platforms throughout an organization’s estate, allowing security operations teams to swiftly comprehend and respond to the most critical incidents reported. SOC.OS is a BAE Systems Digital Intelligence spinoff that began in 2020.

The firm is situated in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, and is privately controlled. Sophos intends to improve its Managed Threat Response (MTR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions for businesses of all sizes using SOC.OS. SOC.OS will also assist Sophos in expanding its Adaptive Cybersecurity Ecosystem, which serves as the foundation for all of Sophos’ security products. This will involve receiving warnings and events from the third-party endpoint, server, firewall, IAM, cloud workload, email, and mobile security solutions.
