SpaceX to receive $72 M from South-Korean firm Mirae Asset

According to Reuters, South Korean-based Mirae Asset Financial Group plans to invest US $72 million in SpaceX next month.

The Mirae Asset Securities and Mirae Asset Capital affiliates of the company with its headquarters in Seoul will handle the investment. The two will each invest US $3.5 million and US $69 million.

Elon Musk’s spacecraft and satellite firm received a 116 billion won (US $90 million) investment from Mirae Asset Securities in July.

Additionally, Mirae Asset had plans to contribute 300 billion won ($234 million) toward Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter in October.
