Specialty coffee roaster-machine manufacturer Cohoma Coffee raises Rs 5 Cr Seed funding from IPV

In a seed funding round headed by Inflection Point Ventures and involving Swishin VC, Cohoma Coffee, a specialty coffee roaster and machine manufacturer, has raised Rs 5 crore ($0.53 million).
The money raised will be used to increase production capacity and penetrate foreign markets.
Cohoma Coffee, which was founded by Kanika and Paritosh Birla, provides a variety of specialty coffee products that can be quickly made without the need for equipment. Additionally, it produces super-automatic coffee makers for business and hospitality customers.
Using a vertically integrated business model, the startup sources beans from around the world, roasts them in-house, and manufactures its own brewing equipment.
Serving hotels, offices, and cafes, Cohoma has established an omnichannel presence in retail, e-commerce, and B2B partnerships. Retail chains like Nature’s Basket and Le Marche also carry it.
The company runs café-style kiosks in contemporary retail establishments and sells naturally flavored coffee products without added sugar or preservatives.
Over 90% of customers on Cohoma’s platform are repeat customers.
