Startups in Zambia encouraged to apply for Women in Tech program

Applications are being accepted for the Women in Tech accelerator program, which is run by BongoHive Innovations and provides funding, mentorship, and training to women-led, tech-based, and tech-enabled businesses in Zambia.

With the help of top-notch training, strategic mentoring, and equity-free funding, the three-month Women in Tech Zambia program assists female entrepreneurs in expanding their businesses and scaling sustainable solutions that are in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Three months of business incubation, expert mentoring, and technical and business support will be provided to chosen startups. Along with gaining access to financial analysis, networking opportunities, and media exposure, they will also design a customized milestone development plan that will help them become investment-ready.

A US$10,000 equity-free grant will be given to five chosen companies to help them scale their solutions as part of the program. Additionally, startups will receive six months of focused post-program support to help them expand their operations and reach new markets.

Applications are open here until May 28.
