Center Court Capital and PeerCapital led the pre-Series A funding round for sportstech startup Stupa Sports Analytics, which brought in Rs 28 crore.
Stupa had raised Rs 7.5 crore in seed and pre-seed funding prior to this pre-Series A round.
The funds that were raised will support the company’s efforts to improve its products, hire more staff, and expand internationally. To draw in top AI/ML and engineering talent to develop cutting-edge solutions, the newest fund pool will also be used. Along with growing its current footprint in areas like Europe and Asia, the fund will support Stupa’s aspirations to go global, entering markets like the US, UK, Australia, and the Middle East.
Megha Gambhir founded Stupa Sports Analytics, which provides athletes, sports federations, broadcasters, and fan communities all over the world with a full range of AI-driven solutions for advanced analytics of player performance data, broadcasting capabilities, and sports digitization tools.
Stupa asserts that it has forged more than fifteen strategic alliances with significant sports federations and governing bodies, mostly in Europe.
