Syria’s AlMkhtar closes $100K Seed funding from angel investors

Syrian startup AlMkhtar, a digital marketplace specialising in real estate and automotive services, has closed a $100,000 seed funding round led by angel investors Rani Abu-Shaar and Abdulah Al-Shamma, with participation from several additional angel investors, according to Riyada+.
The investment will support AlMkhtar’s next phase of growth as the company expands its presence across Damascus and its surrounding areas, while strengthening its technology platform and broadening its commercial reach.
Founded in 2020 by Ayham Ksayer, AlMkhtar connects buyers with sellers and landlords with tenants through an integrated digital marketplace serving both the real estate and automotive sectors. The platform operates across B2B, B2C and C2C models, aiming to improve transparency, efficiency and trust within the market.
The new funding will be deployed to enhance the platform’s product, introduce new features to improve user experience, expand its customer base, and attract more business accounts, including car dealerships, rental companies and real estate developers.
The investment reflects growing confidence in Syria’s emerging digital entrepreneurship ecosystem and AlMkhtar’s ambition to modernise the country’s property and automotive marketplaces.
