Women health platform Newmi Care raised $1.5 M Seed funding from Sprout Venture Partners
In a Seed funding round headed by Sprout Venture Partners, Newmi Care, a full stack outpatient care platform and clinics focused on women’s health & wellness, raised $1.5 million.
Leading family offices, LetsVenture, Sarcha Advisors, Key Ventures Forum, and a few angel investors were also involved in the round.
According to a press release from the company, Newmi Care wants to grow its staff, improve technology and product innovation, and construct women’s clinics in North and West India.
More than 60,000 women in 400 Indian cities have reportedly received care from Newmi Care since its founding in May 2022, covering issues with menstruation, sexual and hormonal health, maternity and fertility, menopause, and women’s reproductive organ cancers.
Aditi Singh and Sanchit Agarwal founded Newmi, a company that operates ten clinics in the Delhi NCR and has introduced women-focused OPD insurance products in partnership with top insurers.
VC fund in its early stages Sprout is presently making investments using its Fund II. It has backed businesses including Pixis, Ripplr, Fashor, Advantage Club, Goals101, and Fitso among others since the launch of its first fund.
