$1 M invested by Betatron Venture Group in 91Squarefeet
91Squarefeet, an Indian firm that oversees retail construction projects, has secured $1 million from the fourth fund of Betatron Venture Group, which just went live.
Customers of the startup benefit from the digitization of design, material sourcing, contractor selection, and project management in retail construction. It evaluates contractors, simplifies the ordering of supplies, and monitors each stage of the building process to provide updates on the status of each project. The business was a member of the winter 2022 batch at Y Combinator.
The startup, according to co-founder and CEO Amit Bansal of 91Squarefeet, intends to expand into more Asian nations in 2019. Additionally, it hopes to finish a series A round before the year is up.
Betatron Venture Group, meanwhile, is a Hong Kong and Singapore-based early stage investor in technology. In seed and Series A rounds, the fourth fund, BVG IV, generally invests anywhere between US $500,000 to US $2,000,000. In addition to 91Squarefeet, BVG IV also contributed US $1 million to the Pakistani wholesaler 24Seven.
