Applications are now open for the US $100,000 Africa Food Prize, which honours a remarkable person or organization for being at the forefront of efforts to transform the agricultural landscape of Africa.
The Africa Food Prize honors Africans who are taking charge of the agricultural agenda for the continent by shining a light on audacious projects and technological breakthroughs that can be replicated throughout the continent to create new levels of food security and economic opportunity for all Africans.
It aims to honor outstanding individuals—women, men, and institutions—whose contributions to African agriculture have ushered in a new era of secure food supply and expanding economic opportunities for all Africans.
Applications can be submitted until June 17.
