18 new hubs joined AfriLabs hub network
With the addition of 18 new hubs, AfriLabs, the largest network of technology and innovation hubs in Africa, now has 496 hubs spread across 261 cities in 53 different African countries.
AfriLabs is a network organization that brings together investors, startups, technology hubs, and other important players in the ecosystem with the goal of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship across the continent.
Its network now has 496 members after adding 18 new ones. With its first hub located in a brand-new city, Stellenbosch, South Africa, the expansion bolsters AfriLabs’ presence throughout the continent of Africa.
The SU LaunchLab serves as this hub, and ScaleUp Namibia, OceanHub Africa in Cape Town, and the Women Creating Wealth initiative of the Graca Machel Trust in Johannesburg are additional resources supporting Southern Africa.
Together with Connect’Innov and The Dot, the largest digital hub in the north and a government-affiliated organization, DigiArtLivingLab (DALL) has established a presence in North Africa, with locations in Tunis and Nabeul. PTS Investments Holdings and Aria Ventures, located in Cairo, are pleased to welcome you to Egypt.
While AFRICA TECH SPACE in Nakuru, Kenya; Owl Innovation Labs in Nairobi, Kenya; RLabs Tanzania in Iringa, Tanzania; and AfriFORTIFIED HUB in Kisumu, Kenya, join the network in Eastern Africa, Mswitch in Abuja, Nigeria, joins the network in Western Africa.
The French-speaking Ovation and KIVUTECH hubs in Kinshasa and Bukavu, DRC, respectively; the Revival Innovation Hub in Bua, Cameroon; and the DIAMBILAY BUSINESS CENTER in Lubumbashi, DR Congo are the four new hubs to Central Africa.
