$2.5 M Seed funding raised by e-commerce platform Boundless Brands
Boundless Brands, a full-stack e-commerce platform for the F&B industry and a digital-first beverage brand have raised $2.5 million in a seed round from renowned angel investors in the United States and India.
According to a press release from Boundless, the company intends to add more than 1,000 F&B third-party brands over the course of the next two years to its full stack e-commerce platform and services. In the summer of 2023, it also intends to introduce a variety of drinks that will be sold through its own e-commerce website and app in addition to marketplaces, quick commerce, and contemporary retail.
For F&B brands, Boundless provides technology, a catalog, digital marketing, payment processing, order fulfillment, and customer support for e-commerce websites and apps.
Sandeep Aggarwal of Droom and ShopClues founded Boundless Brands, and Nagendra Shukla joined as a co-founder and CEO. Before joining Boundless, Shukla spent 23 years in Silicon Valley working in technology leadership positions at companies like Sephora.com, HP, Intuit, and McAfee.com. Despite having no executive position at the company, Aggarwal will continue to lead the strategy and coach the team.
This summer, the Gurugram-based company will introduce dozens of beverage products to meet the needs of Gen Z and millennial consumers in India, who make up more than 50% of the country’s $100 billion F&B market and represent an underserved market for beverages.
