20 startups selected by T-Hub & AIC to transform Indian automotive industry

The top innovation ecosystem in India, T-Hub, has announced the 20 startups that have been chosen for its program focusing on the auto sector in association with Atal Incubation Centre (AIC).

The three-month program aims to offer startups specialized 1:1 mentoring, group sessions, investor connections, and market pilots to assist them in locating their first clients, corresponding with investors, gaining access to government incentives and grants, and establishing new business models for their organizations.

After reviewing over 230 applications, the startups were chosen, according to a T-Hub release issued here on Thursday, based on the founders’ backgrounds, business plans, and products. The program’s focus areas include electric vehicles, connected vehicles, fleet management, clean mobility solutions, automotive technologies, and emerging vehicle technologies.

Triolt, Etric, Vihaan Electrix, Aurita electric utility bikes, Tumpudi Automotive Pvt Ltd, Zero Sum, Bijliride, Transcent, TelioEV, TRiDE Mobility, CHARGEKART, Piqyu, Bid rYde, SunPlower Wind, LogiXair, Austhraa Motors, and C&G Green Energy are a few of the chosen startups.

“Through this program, we aim to create a strong ecosystem empowering startups and facilitating new-age solutions in the automobile industry. We are excited to welcome the selected startups to the AIC-T-Hub program.
Over the next few months, startups will receive access to right mentorship, funding channels, and networking opportunities,” said Mahankali Srinivas Rao (MSR), CEO of T-Hub.
“We are confident that this program will play a crucial role in helping startups scale their businesses and drive innovation in the automobile industry,” added Rajesh Adla, CEO of AIC T-Hub Foundation.
Greenfield incubators known as Atal Incubation Centers (AICs) were established as part of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) to support startups and encourage entrepreneurship in India.

A Rs 8 Crore customer order for Ermin Automotive, a 17 L grant for Nova Avenue, and market access for startups like Smart City Maharashtra, Telangana Tourism, Goa Tourism, and GHMC were just a few of the impressive success metrics for the previous cohort.

In addition to other pertinent impact metrics, the AIC T-Hub program has had a significant impact on the number of startups (74), funding secured (INR 15 Cr), and mentors (100+).

A Demo Day is planned for the program’s conclusion, which is set for July 5. The program started on April 5 and runs through that date.

According to the press release, the program is focused on giving startups access to world-class experts and resources to help them sharpen their market understanding, improve their business and product commercialization plans, and quickly test and certify their EVs. Startups will also benefit from exclusive access to potential investors and customers, mentorship from industry experts, and a chance to connect with other startups in the ecosystem.
