25 percent stake in Seven Tech to be acquired by Paytm Cloud

For about Rs 8.70 crore ($1 million), Paytm Cloud, a fully-owned subsidiary of One97 Communications, plans to purchase a 25% share in Seven Tech, a Delaware-based company.
The purchase is a component of Paytm’s plan to reach foreign markets with its merchant payments and financial services model.
Micro, small, and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs) in Brazil can now access digital financial services through e-commerce platforms thanks to Seven Technology. Following this, Dinie and Seven Technologies will join the company as associate entities.
Paytm Cloud, which was founded in 2018, recently declared that it will open offices in Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia in order to take advantage of its technologically advanced merchant payments and financial services.
The announcement follows Paytm’s Q3 FY25 quarterly results. During that time, the Noida-based business reported earnings of Rs 208 crore and losses of Rs 1828 crore.
