$296k funding secured by Morocco’s Aza Petrolsolutions
The Maroc Numeric Fund II has provided MAD3 million (US $296,000) in investment to Moroccan firm Aza Petrolsolutions, formerly known as Aza Petroleum, to aid in its growth.
Zakaria Azemzi, Fatima Ezzahra Azemzi, and Abdelaziz Elaiachi founded Aza in 2020. Aza creates tech-based solutions specifically suited for the oil distribution sector. The firm provides a completely automated system that improves distribution and refilling processes and makes it easier for customers to pay with their phones at service stations.
The firm will be able to grow its operations thanks to the MAD3 million fundraising round, which also represents the Maroc Numeric Fund II’s sixth investment.
“We are happy to support Aza Petrosolutions in its development. We were seduced by the quality and complementarity of its teams, and by the innovations, they have developed and which meet real digitalization needs in the oil distribution industry,” said Dounia Boumehdi, managing director of MITC Capital, the management company behind the Maroc Numeric Fund II.
