$3.5 M Seed funding secured by Egyptian marketing startup Gameball
Gameball, an Egypt-based marketing CRM platform, has closed a US $3.5 million seed round to hasten the commercialization of its products, the acquisition of business clients, and strategic recruiting.
Gameball, an all-in-one customer intelligence, and marketing CRM platform was founded in 2020 by Ahmed Khairy, Ahmed El Assy, and Omar Alfar. It enables consumer businesses to personalize customer engagement and monetize their client base.
Along with local angel investors, Seedra Ventures, Arzan Ventures, Propeller, and Core Vision participated in the US $3.5 million seed round, which was organized by 500 Global, P1 Ventures, and Launch Africa Ventures.
A 360-degree picture of all consumer interactions and journeys is provided to omnichannel merchants by Gameball’s marketing solution. Its product line gives organizations the ability to analyze consumer behaviour, use first-party data, spot revenue-generating possibilities, and implement retention tactics.
With the help of its fully integrated marketing suite, which gives marketers access to customer analytics and segmentation, incentive and loyalty management, and cross-channel messaging, marketers can increase customer conversion and individualized engagement while also supplying brands with rich data and insights.
Gameball has serviced more than 7,000 companies and 20 million customers since its start, processing monthly transactions totaling more than US $260 million. While making investments in the commercialization of its product, Gameball will operationalize teams in Saudi Arabia, Germany, and the United Kingdom as part of its expansion plan.
“This seed round brings on board renowned investors who will help fuel our growth, marking a critical milestone for us, as we evolve into a truly global platform,” Khairy said.
