$3 M seed funding received by Y Combinator-backed Pina

A seed fundraising round headed by AC Ventures, Vibe.VC, and Y Combinator garnered $3 million for the personal financial app Pina, which is located in Indonesia.

Pina, which was established in 2021, lets users keep track of their assets and invest their money in a mutual fund or stock products. Additionally, it offers a tool that teaches users how to properly handle their cash.

The firm presently manages more than US $4.1 million in assets and has over 25,000 registered users (AUM). According to a statement from Pina, its AUM increased by double in February over the prior month and by an additional 18x in March.

The founders of the fintech company include former Grab executive Daniel van Leeuwen, former Zenius executive Hendry Chou, and former Fajar Kuntoro executive Christian Hermawan.

Pina intends to utilize the new funds to expand her clientele and produce new products.
