$4.25 M in pre-seed funding received by Singapore robotics firm Eureka Robotics

Eureka Robotics, located in Singapore, secured more money in a pre-series A round. A deep-tech investment business led by the University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners.

Eureka creates robot technology to automate processes in sectors such as electronics, automotive, 5G telecommunications, and others. IkeaBot robots, which can build furniture from the Swedish home goods business, are well-known.

Nanyang Technological University spun out the company in 2018. Eureka released Archimedes, an optical lens production robot, a year later.

The new funding will be used to accelerate the development and commercialization of the Eureka Controller, a product used in factories for activities requiring great precision and agility.

Eureka also plans to expand its footprint in Singapore and France by opening new offices in Japan and Vietnam.
