US $ 1.2 million raised by Egypt and Saudi Arabia-based edutainment platform Jeel in Seed Funding
Jeel, which was founded in 2019 by Ahmed Sobaih, delivers instructional information to youngsters in the form of songs, games, and movies under parental supervision. Jeel App creates educational and psychological material that emphasizes values and ethics for children aged three to nine years old.
The platform will use the US$1.2 million seed investment round, which was raised from Kuwaiti and Jordanian angel investors, to accelerate its growth and add new services in 2021, as well as enhance its technological capabilities and expand its workforce. Jeel will also expand its collection by acquiring new high-quality cartoon series, music, and games.
“Jeel Platform is stepping forward steadily with clear vision and strategy and this step pushes it towards our next milestone. We plan to launch more products and services soon, as a part of our expansion strategy,” Sobaih said.
