$7 M series A funding secured by India’s Awiros

The series A investment round for Awiros, an Indian video processing platform, included participation from VedaVC and Inflexor Ventures and saw a total raise of $7 million USD.

Awiros, a marketplace for AI-powered apps, was established in 2015 and provides businesses with solutions for video processing, facial recognition, mask identification, fire detection, and vehicle counting. Its platform, which is comparable to Android’s Google Play and iOS’ AppStore for games and applications, enables businesses to explore and install new programs on numerous devices without the need to install new operating systems.

Prominent corporations like Honeywell and Mercedes are among Awiros’ clientele.

The creators of the video processing platform are Yatin Kavishwar, a former employee of Cisco and IBM, and computer engineering research expert Vikram Gupta.

Awiros intends to utilize the additional investment to improve its product, create a developer community, expand to other nations, and recruit more staff in the US and India.
