$930K secured by Tunisian team collaboration startup Cynoia for West African expansion
Cynoia, a Tunisian startup focused on team collaboration, has successfully secured EUR850,000 (US $930,000) to expand into the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), primarily focusing on Senegal and Ivory Coast.
Cynoia, a company founded in 2022 by Ayoub Rabeh and Nasreddine Riahi, seeks to streamline and improve internal collaboration. The platform integrates an extensive range of fundamental features, including chat and video conferencing, email and calendar administration, document processing, and project management.
With over 3,000 members in nine countries, the firm is currently exploring more growth after obtaining funding from Bpifrance, 216 Capital Ventures, and United Gulf Financial Services. With a strategic focus on Senegal and the Ivory Coast, Cynoia aims to expand in UEMOA markets.
“We share a common vision with our partners, which is to enhance collaboration and productivity within teams by centralising various tools and features within a single platform,” said Riahi.
“What makes Cynoia stand out is its strategic positioning in the global market of high-performing collaboration tools. Their potential for international growth is further underscored by their robust team – a promising formula for future success,” said Dhekra Khelifi, partner at 216 Capital.
