Singapore-based BELLS Institute of Higher Learning acquired by Imarticus Learning

BELLS Institute of Higher Learning, located in Singapore, has been acquired by professional education firm Imarticus Learning.

Through the transaction, two organizations that prioritize workforce development and professional education are combined. Imarticus Learning joins BELLS’ network of over 150,000 alumni, seven training facilities in Singapore, and partnerships with the Singaporean government, SkillsFuture Singapore, and businesses throughout the area. The company claims to have serviced over a million students.

The combined company employs over 1,100 people and runs more than 25 offices in Singapore and India.

While BELLS adds capabilities in enterprise learning, artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, technology, and workforce development, as well as connections with the Singaporean government, Imarticus Learning has established a footprint in finance and professional education in India.

The firm claims that while students in Singapore will have access to Imarticus Learning’s finance, data science, analytics, and technology programs, Indian students would have access to Singapore exchange opportunities and ASEAN career pathways as a result of the acquisition.

Programs covering AI literacy, applied machine learning, AI for finance and fintech, and AI-enabled business transformation will be offered by the united organization. The programs will be created in conjunction with business partners and in line with the needs of employers in Singapore, India, and the larger ASEAN area.

Imarticus Learning, which was co-founded by Nikhil Barshikar and Sonya Hooja, provides undergraduate education through the Imarticus School of Finance & Business (ISFB) in addition to executive education, corporate learning, global certifications, career launch programs, Prodegrees, and government skilling initiatives.
