Deep-tech energy startup Adiabatic Technologies raises Rs 8.3 Cr Seed funding

In a seed fundraising round co-led by Malpani Ventures and Avinya Ventures, deep-tech energy firm Adiabatic Technologies raised Rs 8.3 crore. Appreciate Capital, DeVC, Operators Studio, and UPES Incubator also participated.
In November of last year, Soonicorn Ventures and other investors contributed Rs 1.1 crore to the company’s angel fundraising round.
According to a news release from Adiabatic, the additional funds will be utilized to increase the company’s manufacturing capacity to 100 MWh per year, speed up product development, bolster its engineering staff, and grow the deployment of its battery systems across robotics, defense, and other industries.
Adiabatic, which Darshan Meher founded in 2022, creates unique Battery Management Systems (BMS), smart chargers, and specialized lithium ion battery packs for OEMs in high-reliability industries. According to the firm, more than 20,000 battery systems have been installed by more than 25 OEMs in industries including robotics, defense, drones, agricultural equipment, electric vehicles, and solar energy.
The Pune-based business claims that it creates all of its battery systems internally, including pack architecture, cell selection, thermal control, and its exclusive Battery Management System. Its solutions are designed for applications that need fast charging, intelligent battery management, excellent discharge performance, and thermal safety.
The company intends to concentrate on specialized battery platforms for robotics, industrial automation, unmanned aerial systems, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and other applications where performance and dependability are crucial.
Startups like EMO Energy, Clean Energy, Neuron Energy, and Inverted Energy are competitors of Adiabatic.
