INCUBEES: Tell us about your product or services?
KAAGAZ SCANNER: We currently have two products – Kaagaz Scanner App & Sorted AI Reminders App. Kaagaz is a document scanning app while Sorted AI is an intelligent reminders app.
India has over 50 crore internet users. 80% of these are using internet primarily from their phones. None of the existing utility apps were built for these users. We are looking to build a suite of AI powered utility tools for this Bharat user. Our tools help users manage their day-to-day tasks like managing documents, remembering tasks, taking notes, managing information etc. with minimum effort by leveraging artificial intelligence.
INCUBEES: What makes your product unique and what competition do you see in India and globally?
KST: All utility products of the previous generation required a lot of manual effort from the users for them to work. We are leveraging artificial intelligence to automate a lot of those things and making it very easy for users to manage their day-to-day tasks. From a pure utility products perspective, we compete with other global products for scanning, cloud storage, notes & reminders etc. but leveraging AI for building next gen utility products is a relatively new field with not much competition globally except from giants like Google.
INCUBEES: What are the challenges you see in the market at this point of time?
KST: Utility products as such are commoditized to a large extent. For every kind of tool that you can think of, there are many products available. Not all of them are of course of the best quality always but it gets challenging to differentiate among the number of apps in each category.
Leveraging AI, we have been building tools that are a few notches above all the other products in each category and we believe that will help us create a differentiation in the market.
INCUBEES: Tell us about your team and what inspires them?
