INCUBEES: Tell us about your product or services?

GAUTAMI RAIKER: The Legal Capsule is a legal tech company and offers a contract lifecycle management platform serving B2B market in India and the world over. The Legal Capsule is a completely paperless and digital solution to create, negotiate, e-sign, and manage legal contracts with renewal alerts. Currently, the majority of SMEs and large enterprises are managing legal contracts like NDAs, supply chain contracts, human resources, or any other commercial contract by hand. This manual process is very tedious, time-consuming, and is efficient which is prone to errors and can be manipulated. The Legal Capsule offers a strong and secure way of handling legal contracts of a company and is compliant with the Information Technology laws and the Evidence Act in India and also, compliant to the International standard laws.

INCUBEES: What makes your product unique and what competition do you see in India and globally?

GAUTAMI RAIKER: Most importantly, the product offers a negotiation tool for contracts so that you do not have to manage anything offline. Every contract signed through The Legal Capsule portal has an audit trail that records live photographs of the person signing the document, IP address, GPS details, date, and time of execution. This is an important feature in compliance with the Information Technology Act. Automation in the legal sector is the present and future. There are several competitors globally. But the right service and innovative features in our product will give us the edge in the market in India and globally.

INCUBEES: What are the challenges you see in the market at this point in time?

GAUTAMI RAIKER: Due to COVID-19 pandemic, companies are working remotely across the world. This is the right time for a product to scale that automates legal contracts and legal operations of a company. Reaching out to the management at this point in time is a challenging situation for us.
