SpeedForce acquired by auto tech firm ReadyAssist for $10 M

Auto tech firm ReadyAssist announced that it has paid $10 million (or around Rs 82 crore) in cash plus shares to acquire the multi-brand two-wheeler workshop chain SpeedForce. With more than 300 workshops, the SpeedForce network of two-wheeler multi-brand workshops is the largest in the nation. It is located in Vadodara.

The Bengaluru-based business ReadyAssist said in a statement that it will grow into India’s largest network of multi-brand two-wheeler workshops as a result of the purchase.

“ReadyAssist is very successful in operating a pan India roadside assistance and doorstep service to our 8,00,000 subscribed customers. This acquisition will help us extend the reach to our customers in their need for general periodic services and major repairs,” ReadyAssist CEO Vimal Singh SV said.

In the next year, the plan is to grow from 300 workshops to over 1,000 workshops, including four-wheeler multi-brand stores, he added.
