USD 100k hackathon launched by Polygon, invites Indian developers to launch decentralized apps

Polygon, India’s largest crypto project and one of the world’s most widely used blockchains, has launched the BUIDL IT 2k21 Hackathon in partnership with Devfolio, India’s largest and fastest-growing community of creators.

BUIDL IT 2k21 is India’s first Polygon-native hackathon, with the goal of promoting Web3 technology and culture among aspiring Indian developers.

This effort focuses solely on the Indian ecosystem. BUIDL IT is the ideal place for Indian developers, entrepreneurs, artists, and students to start their Blockchain and Web3 journeys and show off their unique ideas and projects on a large scale.

Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder, Polygon, said, “we are excited to announce Polygon BUIDL IT 2k21 hackathon in collaboration with Devfolio. The BUIDL IT Hackathon is open to everyone, whether they’ve worked with Web3 before or not. This hackathon provides participants with the chance to improve their abilities in order to construct and contribute to the Web3 ecosystem. Participants can vie for rewards worth more than USD 100,000 (about Rs 75 lakhs).
