Y Combinator heads $4.8 M Pre-series A round for Anfin

A pre-series A fundraising round headed by Y Combinator and angel investor Clement Benoit netted Anfin, located in Vietnam, US $4.8 million.

Anfin intends to continue its relationship development to provide new financial asset classes. Currently, Anfin offers approximately 300 equities and nine exchange-traded funds.

In particular, the fintech company’s social investing product, which enables users to host and participate in live audio rooms, will be developed with the help of funding.

Anfin will offer a platform that enables reliable investors to discuss concepts, trades, and strategies by utilizing tech-enabled risk assessment and profiling tools.

According to Phuoc Tran, CEO and co-founder of Anfin, the money is essential to the company’s next phase of expansion and its objective to democratize access to a variety of financial assets for individual investors in Vietnam.

Anfin, which began operations in October 2021, has more than 100,000 funded accounts with balances totalling between US $5 million and US $10 million.
